The 2018 Junior National Fencing Championships will be hosted by Western Province at the Christel House School, Cape Town on 3rd and 4th February 2018. Fencers must be in possession of a 2018 FFSA Licence. This can be purchased by your provincial administrators (R350 per fencer per year). NB: FFSA Council has agreed that a once-off licence of R150.00 for Under 11, 13 and 15 will issued in 2018. (This is valid for this competition only and not for fencers competing in any other national ranking competitions during 2018)
The competition is a selection cut-off event for the Junior World Championships (U17 and U20) to be held in Verona, in Italy from the 1 to 9th April 2018
This competition is the only FFSA competition of the year where U11, U13 and U15 events are competed, as well as the usual U 17 and U20 age categories.
